Doesn’t it seem like everywhere you turn, someone is talking about the subject of how to build self esteem? Especially regarding their issues with “low self esteem”? For example, just look at the newspaper and magazine headlines, talk shows and don’t forget Hollywood.

I am not going to spend a lot of energy and time on the causes. Because the way I look at it, whatever happened in the past is the ancient history. In other words, something happened in my past. Do I want to relive it for the rest of my life? Do I want to drag the past around with me like extra baggage? Or do I want to do something about it now. So I can move forward without a lot of extra emotional weight dragging me down.

Remember I said I wasn’t going to spend a bunch of time on the “causes” of self esteem issues. Well I am not. And I want to share this hilarious example of one of the reasons I believe that how to build self esteem is such an important subject and is so relevant in todays society.

Enjoy!:-)

In my quest for learning how to build self esteem, I hired and worked with many types of mentors to help me put together the pieces of the success puzzle.

One of the things, that all of the business coaches, life coaches, spiritual teachers, (and many of the self improvement books I read) talked about was the subject of meditation. So I figured there must be something to this meditation thing, if everybody was talking about it.

I can’t tell you how many different meditation methods I tried. After countless unsuccessful attempts, I eventually gave up trying to meditate and “quiet” my mind. I figured it just wasn’t for me. Now before your brain says to you ” I thought we were talking about how to build self esteem.” “What does meditation have to do with building self esteem”? Bear with me, there is a connection here.

A couple of years ago, one of my mentors, T Harv Eker, who is extremely successful in all areas of his life, briefly mentioned his favorite meditation methods is Holosync. The thing which caught my attention was he was using this product within his company for all of his staff. He related that Holosync was one of the first products he had used which helped him to dissolve and eliminate many of his limiting beliefs and thoughts.

His staff which consisted of 120 plus people were also receiving huge benefits. His staff was also noticing improved focus, and a HUGE increase in their self esteem. This translated into a major shift in employee morale. The bottom line (pardon the pun) was a major spike in profits for the company, and raises and bonus for the employees. Does it get much better than that? Nothing like a win-win situation to motivate people…eh???

Based on Harv’s, comments I decided to give Holosync a shot. One of the things which sealed the deal for me and had me whip my credit card out was the “iron clad, no questions asked, money back guarantee”. I was blown away. Because I had never seen or heard of a money back guarantee from a personal development product, I really felt like I had nothing to lose, and a whole lot to gain.

The Holosync program is unlike any other meditation CDs I’ve tried. I’ve received many tangible benefits. Almost immediately after trying the program, I felt more centered, balanced, and focused. Situations which would have triggered me in a negative previously, started to become non-issues. For example spending time with certain family members wasn’t a chore any longer.

The big confirmation for me was when someone who I was close to, pulled me to the side and said “I have noticed that there is a big change in you.” “You seem to have this peacefulness, and you are more relaxed which I have never seen in you before.” Their comment caught my attention. This was in addition to the relaxation effect.

Instead of being stuck in old behavours, thoughts and habits, I started to live my life differently. by making conscious choices. The degree of transformation had never happened in my life previously, from the use of any other self development programs, or workshops.

I started to share Holosync with other people and they also were receiving similar results. That’s when I knew I was onto something.

And guess what? They are still offering the unbelievable ONE YEAR - no hassle, no quibble money back guarantee! You can’t beat it!

If what I am sharing, resonates with you, and you are looking for an easy way how to build self esteem, I highly recommend you check out the best meditation methods - Holosync by Centerpointe Research.

For way too many years than I care to count, I felt that something was “missing” in my life. To put it bluntly my life really wasn’t working. I heard and read the words “how to build self self esteem” . But it always came with some psychological mumbo jumbo definition. Which I just couldn’t get my head wrapped around. Occasionally I had these “brief” glimpses of brilliance. Yet for the most part these “flashes” were short lived at best. If you looked up “getting your act together” in the dictionary, you would have seen my picture. So much for “Mr Potential”!!!!

And it certainly wasn’t from a lack of trying. I read, and re-read, so many self help books, that Border’s had a “reserved” chair set aside for me. I attended numerous workshops, seminars, personal coaching, different diets, tape programs, etc. I think you get the picture. And sometime I would get results, and most times any improvement or changes were short-lived.

Then approximately 3 years ago, I was turned onto a personal development program that actually delivered on what it promised. As a matter of fact I felt a difference on the very first day I used it. After my first go around I thought to myself, “this is it”!!!! “This is exactly what I have been looking for”.

Let me be clear about one thing. My Intention is to share some different tools and resources which have made a HUGE impact on my life These have allowed me to make changes in my behavours, habit, beliefs and how I dealt with certain subjects in my life. Which equal much different results. And I will share these shifts, transformations, and breakthroughs as we move forward.

Some of these tools come with a money back guarantee. Which means you can try it for a certain time frame, to see if it does work for you. Others resources cost money. A question I would suggest you ask yourself is, “am I worth this investment in myself”? And only you can answer that very important question. I will share with you what I like, and also what I don’t like about each of these. From the perspective of a regular person just looking to improve themselves, and their life. In other words I am not a “Tony Robbins” type. Nothing against Tony. My theory is personal development and self help programs are like Baskin Robbin’s ice cream. The reason they have 31 plus flavors is because not everyone likes chocolate or vanilla.

These are tools and resources are things which have worked for me. If what I am talking about resonates with you, I recommend you check it out to see if it is a good match for what you want to accomplish in your life. If it doesn’t resonate with you, I strongly urge you to discard it.

I wish I had found this technology, and these tools and resources years ago, because I would have avoided, and eliminated a lot of stress, and crap in my life. But I digress. That was then, and this is now. One of my favorite sayings is, “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear”. And if you are reading this, it’s possible that could be the case for you as well. So lets gets started on this journey on how to build self esteem, in a permanent and long lasting manner.

What exactly is self esteem, and why would I want to learn how to build self esteem?

The dictionary definition of self esteem is:

1) A realistic respect for or favorable impression of ones self.

2) a person’s respect for himself

It sounds pretty simple…right??? So what’s up with all of the hoopla and media attention about “low self esteeem”?

From my perspective self esteem (whether it be high or low) is caused by the way that a person thinks about themselves. For example if someone thinks that they are “smart” there is a good chance that they will be “smart” in different areas of their life. And the opposite also applies. If someone has heard, or been told that they are “stupid” (or pick any other negative word) and they hear it enough times that they buy into “stupid”, guess what they will experience?

See our brains are like a computer. Especially when we are young. There is a lot of stuff which get’s “programmed” onto our brains. Including how we view and think about ourselves, and the world. This can become an issue, when these programs which are running constantly in the background, sabotage our life.

Here’s what I mean. Have you ever wondered why you constantly have the same type of person in your personal relationships? Or you always seem to have the same type of micro- managing ,over-bearing boss? Has this ever happened to you… or someone you know?

The reason is because somewhere in your life, you had an experience which “programmed” this onto your subconcious brain. And now the same thing keeps on happening in your life. It just happens with different people. This is exactly why you can quit a job, start a new job at a new company, and have the exact type of boss as from your old job. Because the program in your brain was never modified. And this is why you can have the same type of experiences over and over again, until you work on some of these “programs”. And we will talk more about changing this programming, as we explore how to build self esteem.
